forming the letters
At Adams Central we use D'Neilian. This is a type of handwriting that prepares children later on for cursive. One of the most important things you can reinforce with your child is to have him/her start writing letters from the TOP. Many times children want to start from the bottom and go up. Please encourage your child to write starting from the top. Make writing letters fun! You can use dry erase boards, salt, shaving cream, sidewalk chalk, and paint to make it more fun! Please use the document below to reinforce proper formation with your child.
